Illustration Friday - Shaky

ok, i think the only way this is "shaky" is the direction this whole image went - i started out with a delicate line drawing and was picturing lovely clouds and blues greys and greens and then all of sudden she's standing just above h-e-double toothpicks (as my daughters say). And honestly i like that whole idea - that she's guarding the entrance there or not letting people out or not letting people in or contemplating whether to go in?? i don't know, it's all shaky.

I very much agree with your comment .... well maybe not fully understood, but it works great. If yes, a play, of course, Art.

And instability, has nothing.

Congratulations!

Despite that you didn't get the outcome you wanted, it's a great illustration. I love the colors and the patterns on the dress, her strong features and the lighting. Great job!

It seems different from your usual design style. It's more modern and angular! But, just as beautiful! If only we could all be so "shaky"! :)

Nothing shaky about where you arrived--even if the path was rocky. Lovely lines, the patterns on the dress are amazing. This is such a strong figure. And the fact that she's coming out of the frame gives a sense that you don't really know what she will do next.

But the IMAGE isn't shaky at all--it's very real and solid. I like thinking about what she may or may not be doing. All of your images invite the viewer in. This is absolutely lovely.

This is a beautiful piece! She is so strong looking, yet, looking in her eyes, she looks gentle too. I love the colors and the dress.
