i guess there isn't a group much better at adapting to their surroundings than gypsies...i just learned the original gypsies were displaced Egyptians (that is Isis behind her) and that many of the ladies were trained in "magic"...hmmmmmmm love that....

This is simply gorgeous!!! Exquisite, in fact!!! And I love the inclusion of the Egyptian image...your art is profound!!! I love visiting your blogging "gallery." ~Janine XO
Wow! I didn't know that either. Very cool! Beautiful illo! I love the Isis in the background, nice touch!
This is beautiful Adrienne and that's what I like about visiting different blogs, you learn something new every day. I never knew about displaced Egyptians being labeled "gypsies." Thanks so much for this info. Great painting and have a great weekend.

What a charming gipsy!
wonderful work!
You were Johnny on the Spot with this one! Great job Adrienne!!
Lovely image(s).
I didn't know that about gypsies--either originally Egyptians, or training the women in magic. I love the image--especially with the image behind it--it adds another layer of meaning. Beautiful!
You've captured a sense of timelessness and beauty that is so unique to your style. I really love it!
Nice work as usually :o) Adrienne! Have a nice weekend, Kristina
I love the positioning of the hand. Really nice. Good work!
lovely sensitive illo..
Wow! This is really lovely!
This is gorgeous. I like the flat image of Isis behind her in contrast to her colorful richness. The Gypsies also spent time in India which gives depths to the rhythms of Flamenco.
That rocks! I didn't know that. Thanks for the mini lesson! I'm going to share with my friends at "goth night", they'd be excited to hear about it.
another beauty! love seeing your work!
Beautiful image and concept. I'd like to do a little magic on some people I know.
this is absolutely beautiful! I love looking at your blog, you're such an amazing artist :) -Kati
