I love the painting, but find myself totally intriguing by the comment--it wasn't HER heart, but....oh, I guess you mean that it was something like a necklace....I was thinking about the heart either literally (the thing beating in her chest) or metaphorically (like "breaking your heart" or "having a heart")...and the idea of borrowing or finding or stealing that kind of heart was making my head to strange things. It must be too early in the morning.
Hey! I found your awesome work through illo friday. Thanks for the awesome comment! Though it is a bunny, and you're not the first person to see it as a dog--so I guess I'll have to throw in some whiskers and maybe rabbit teeth?
You should really try out mixed media! I'd love to see what you come up with.
Is this one going to be a giclee? I want more giclees! I need to amp up my collection! Loving this series of women you're illustrating. They are absolutely stunning. Remind me to get you to illustrate my next fairytale. ;)
thank you everyone for your nice comments - it's so nice to see new faces as well as the old (old is not a good word but i can't think of another one...) xoxox
