I painted this for a wonderful woman that works at the Humane Society of Berks County - she tragically lost her son this January in the Iraqi war...i can't possibly imagine that kind of loss...haven't given it to her yet out of fear i suppose...
Adrienne - You've been quite busy, it appears. Lovely paintings you've posted. They all look great. Congratulations on the show, too. I'm sure your friend who lost her son will be very touched by this painting you've done for her. It really is sweet and thoughtful.

Give it to her, Adri....she will make her emotional but she will love and treasure it...
oh - this is just so bittersweet - she will be blessed - I KNOW IT ... it needs no words...
