Illustration Friday - Intricate


The word this week for Illustration Friday is "intricate". Today, while drawing this (for something else) my 8 year old was jumping up and down behind me - i asked her to stop because i was drawing something "intricate" (the hair) - and thus, here it is...

    Excellent detail, reminds me of Alfons Mucha's work - must have been don with great concentration with a bouncing 8 yr old behind you.

    Beautiful illustration! The hair is amazing, I really luv how you detailed her curls. And I can only imagine your 8 yr old, LOL I have a 1 yr old and it's soooo difficult to get anything done!
