We had a red fox living in our backyard a few years ago. We found a rabbit body in the front yard, and a few days later we found the head by the mailbox...Haven't seen the red fox since...Lots of stories emerged as to what could have happened to him!
Terrific illo and a great take on the prompt, Adrie! Food, food and more food drives those instincts - and those of all creatures, I 'spose...humans and animals.
another beautiful illo! wonder what life would be like if man operated purely on instinct like a fox does...actually scratch that, the prospect is too scary.
Hi Adrienne, Just wanted to pop back in and thank you for your comment on my "canned" picture. After I posted my first comment, I looked through your other work (gorgeous!) and realized that we appear to both be inspired by Mucha. Your work after him is wonderful & you inspired me, in turn, to go back and make something more complete from that drawing--thanks! All the best to you~~
Very true, instincts play a very large role in every living thing. Great picture.
ReplyDeleteTrue instincts play a large role in any living thing, great work.
