Illustration Friday - Contained

The portraits Klimt did of his lover, Adele, looked like he had her wrapped up and flattened in gold, contained (?) by circles and squares. i tried to get that same feel with my girl.

  1. nice illustration. I like how the patternation in the background, the oval and the dress all although different compliment one another.

  6. Oh I love the linework in her hair. And the contrast with the bolder lines of the background. It doesn't seem like it should work spacially, but it really does.
