Illustration Friday's theme this week is "Similar" - my two daughters are very similar. also very different. This was first drawn in ink on paper, then scanned and painted in photoshop.
Adri - how truly lovely! And a beautiful tribute to your two precious girls. (Funny, I wrote about similar, but different as well....about my sister! I guess it's an artists' thang. LOL!)

Hi Adrienne, thanks for the visit and leaving a comment. The little app for painting on the iPhone (and iPod touch) is called Brushes - it is available from the iTunes store. Its a great little program that is very easy to use and I have a lot of fun playing around. Be warned - its addictive! :)
I have to comment on this as I look thru your blog and wonderful illustrations. My daughters too look like this. Very similar but very different. One is blonde, one is brunette. We are trully blessed with both aren't we. I love this piece! As a fellow artist, I am in awe of your abilities.
